# Badges and cards

Outcome distributes badges and cards to users as a gamification feature. They have no monetary value but recognize different types of trading activity, milestones, and participation.

### How they're earned

Badges and cards are awarded for various activities, including:

* Reaching a target activity such as volume.
* Being an early user.
* Participating in competitions (planned for the future).

The list of available badges and cards expands over time as Outcome introduces new ones.

### Your profile

Once you've claimed a badge or card, you can pin it to your profile page (maximum of 3 at any given time). Others viewing your profile (for example, through the [Leaderboard](/leaderboard)) will see the badges you've pinned.

### Competitions

Outcome plans to run competitions where users can earn additional badges and cards based on participation and performance. Details on specific competitions will be announced when they launch.
