Supported Sports

Football (Soccer) The protocol currently supports the creation of two primary market types: Knockout Markets (2-Way) Designed for matches that must have a definitive winner (e.g., Finals or Overtime scenarios).
  • Structure: A single binary event.
  • Logic: Yes represents Team A, and No represents Team B.
  • Order Book: This creates a complementary liquidity pool where Buying Yes (Team A) is mathematically equivalent to Selling No (Team B).

  • Structure: Three distinct binary markets are deployed simultaneously for a single match.
  • Logic: Each outcome has its own independent Yes/No order book:
    • Market A: Team A Wins (Yes/No)
    • Market B: Team B Wins (Yes/No)
    • Market C: Draw (Yes/No)

Resolution

The MarketChecker bot verifies the outcome data to determine the final consensus result. It then moves the market into a resolving state, pausing all trading, and begins a five-minute cool-down period during which it repeatedly rechecks the data to confirm the consensus remains unchanged. Once confirmed, the bot calls SEDA’s fast function to settle the market on-chain. Resolution is fully deterministic and data-driven, and cannot be manipulated.
